Changelog
What changed in each release of the extension. Chrome updates
extensions silently, so this is the only place the changes are written
down.
-
Added variables. A workspace can declare a named value, pull it out
of the address, read it off the page you are looking at, ask you
for it, or reuse the last one you gave. A merge request number
lives in Jira's development panel and nowhere in the ticket
address, and this is how the extension gets to it.
-
Added a right-click menu. Switch environment from the page you are
on without opening the popup.
-
Added German and Czech. Pick the language in the settings navbar,
and every link out of the extension follows it.
-
Added a light theme and a toggle on both screens. The toolbar icon
now follows your browser's own light or dark toolbar.
-
Redesigned the popup and the settings page. The popup sizes itself
to what it holds, so a workspace of three short environment names
no longer stretches across the screen.
-
Settings open in a full tab now. Workspaces show as cards, and the
editor answers a test address before you save anything.
-
Moved help and this changelog onto the website, so they stay
current between releases.
-
Two permissions came with the above:
contextMenus for
the right-click menu, and offscreen for the one
question the icon needs answered. There are still no host
permissions, and the extension still cannot see your browsing
history.
- Added this changelog.
-
Changed the required permission from
tabs to
activeTab, so the install prompt no longer asks for
access to every site you visit. The extension only ever read the
current tab — the old permission was wider than the behaviour.
